MOS Aircraft Maintenance info

Hello Leatherneck Community,
Wondering if anyone can tell me what the process is for specifying a specialty in the aircraft maintenance MOS? I want to do something along the lines of fixed-wing. I would particularly love to work on the V-22 Osprey if available, but I'll be cool with whatever I get.

Any information is appreciated. Thanks.

Do really well in your schools and maybe you will get your choice. But it's all up to the needs of the Corps.

I wanted to go to Hawaii, but I ended up in Cherry Point.

Thanks for the advice, Sergeant. I will definitely do my best in the schools and hopefully I can work on the Osprey if that placement is available.
